Be The Change

The world waits for no one
We must go forth
And humbly move
Never stepping on anyone
To reach our dreams
But realizing we are a team...
A team of many
In which one word
Can cause a ripple
In the daily waters
We are surrounded with
None of us are better
Than the next
We are all born to live
And live happy...
To believe we are better
Than the next
Is to believe a lie...
There are some who have
Chosen to believe they
Are worthless and
They abuse their bodies,
The gifts they possess
And they squander in the night.
But this does not make them
Any less than us
It makes them lost...
And this is the part of us
That has chosen the wrong things
Brothers keepers are we???
Let us stop holding on
To lies and start living truth
The world waits for no one
But we can believe
And hope for the best
Through hope, faith and let love stir within our hearts
to influence
And cause a great change
The change do many of us
Are dying for in the streets
And that so many of us take for granted.
