Forgive me Lord God,
For there are times
I think of me
And not of You...
I feel so lost within my thoughts
And day to day transactions...
Sometimes I worry
Sometimes I fret
Sometimes my solitude
Bets against you...
How foolish to believe
A lie such as this...
To think one is alone
When even then
Alone in thoughts
Alone in feelings
Alone in this world
Your mercy embraces
Your grace abides
And Your love fulfills
Never leaving anyone alone.
Forgive me Lord for doubting myself,
As my life, my heart and mind
Our truly yours indeed.
